It has just been announced that service and petrol stations will be again offering drivers petrol for just 99c per litre. Twelve (12) Petrol stations that will be participating in the fight for independent petrol stations across Sydney.

Be sure to line up early, because with petrol prices this cheap, you know it form massive queues at the bowser and traffic jams. Sydney siders better be prepared for massive lines of traffic around these petrol stations. Who knows why commuters always get affected by these protests.
Have your say - Do you agree with the independent service stations?
Have you receieved 99 cent fuel?

I would only consider going to the BP stations for the 99 cent fuel. All other petrol stations would probably be heavily diluting their petrol bowsers in order to make up for losses.
Did you know?
Petrol stations do not make their money on petrol.
They make money on the items sold inside the store.
Therefore if they were to offer 99 cent fuel, where could they possibly regain the money from?
No doubt people wouldnt even consider buying something from their shop. So we may come to the conclusion that oil would most probably be heavily diluted. Please be aware as if you love to take care of your car, you take the risk of using low grade fuel.
Lets stop beating around the bush and make fuel 99 cents permanently. These lousy promotions may seem to look in the favor of consumers however there may be another motive that I am not sure of.
ps. Whoever wrote this article obviously didnt spell check. You spelled “trffic” wrong.

On behalf of the company I work for, this is awesome. it really isn’t a ice breaker but due to the fact drivers will only have to pay normal set prices again 1 hour later but for those that get in there fast… the’ll save enough to buy breakfast and maybe lunch that day ahaha. anyways niceeee
