Exploration of geothermal wells permit granted

Over the next five years $18 million will be spent by an exploration company trying to find geothermal water wells in western Victoria.

“Cut Consumption”

Victoria’s biggest water and energy users will be required to come up with a plan to cut their consumption.
More than 250 sites across Victoria, including hospitals, shopping centres, the Melbourne Zoo and universities, will be affected.

Wind turbines for Antarctica

Antarctica is to receive 3 wind turbines transported by Meridan Energy, a New Zealand energy company, to help provide power for its researchers.

Underground carbon storage plant in Victoria

How will we reduce Australias greenhouse gas emissions?
Simple. We lock it 2 kilometres underground, therefore removing it from our atmostphere.
