Oil spill clean-up expected to cost millions

Employees have been evacuated from a Timor Sea oil rig after an oil and gas spill 3.6km below the surface.

Australia’s aluminium sector at risk and could be driven offshore

A report, commissioned by the Australian Workers Union (AWU), on the cost of climate change has called for the aluminium industry to be granted short-term exemption from an emissions trading scheme (ETS).

Oil Search shares down due to production fall in first quarter

Gas and oil producer Oil Search has experienced a production decline of 2.212 million barrels during the last quarter due to natural field decline and a shut down at its operations in Papua New Guinea.

$5 Billion dollar expansion project approved for WA gas & oil operation

Leighton wins pipeline contract for Asia’s biggest oil producer
